Does Murcia have some of the best natural beaches in Spain?

This week I took a walk through the region park of Calblanque which is located close to La Manga del Mar Menor. During the summer months the park is only accessible via the organised buses that run from Los Belones or from the entrance to the park, both areas have parking. Outside of the summer you can drive to the beaches and park in one of the parking zones, then walk across to the beaches or have a walk through the national park. For more details on the bus service during summer please see this link http://www.murcianatural.carm.es/web/guest/accesoscalblanque

The views and beaches in this park are stunning and in my view some of the best in Spain, the beaches have golden sand and the clear blue Mediterranean sea.  The area is used for walks, sun bathing, wind surfing, fishing and just relaxing in the Spanish sun.

How to get there:

Take the motorway AP-7 Alicante-Cartagena, and then the exit 800 in the direction of  La Manga-Cabo de Palos. Take the motorway RM12 for 14km and then turn off at the exit no.10 towards Calblanque.
